(Professor Kim Sang-chul) The Reality of State Funding for Germany’s Public Pension (2026. 8. 27.)

"The Historical Character of State Subsidies to Germany’s Pension Insurance and the Implications of the Merz Government’s Pension Reform: A Critical Examination of the Argument for Expanding State Subsidies to Korea’s National Pension” — a paper under this title appeared in the June 2026 issue of Kyongsang Nonchong, published by the Korea-Germany Association of Economics and Management.

It includes even the content of the German Pension Guarantee Commission announced on June 23.

It can serve as vivid evidence of how far certain groups have distorted foreign cases in conveying the reality of state funding for Germany’s public pension.

The paper is attached as a file.

(In connection with this, the minutes of advisory committee member Yoon Seok-myung at the 22nd National Assembly’s Special Committee on Pension Reform will be posted in the “Statements and Commentary” category.

Reading it alongside this paper is recommended.)
