2026 Academic Conference of the Korean Association of Fiscal Policy (July 3, 2026, IBK Training Institute, Chungju)

Over the two days from July 3 to July 4, 2026,

at the IBK Industrial Bank of Korea Chungju Training Institute,

“The Present State of Public Pensions and a Search for Directions of Development” served as

the theme of

the 2026 Academic Conference of the Korean Association of Fiscal Policy, which

was held.

At this conference,

the Secretary-General of the Pension Future Forum,

Professor Kim Sang-chul (Hansei University), presented on

“The Structural Transformation of Germany’s Pension System and Generational Capital (Generationenkapital)”

as the topic of the presentation.

On this presentation,

the Secretary-General of the Pension Future Forum,

Professor Kim Hak-joo (Dongguk University), offered

a designated discussion in response.

In the policy forum of the plenary session that followed,

the leader of the Pension Future Forum,

Yoon Seok-myung, Research Fellow Emeritus at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, presented on

“A Diagnosis of the Current State of Public Pensions and Plans for Structural Reform”

as the topic of the presentation.
